Welcome to my site! I am a home-sick Jamaican living and studying abroad. I decided to create this site as a means of communicating my thoughts to the world and most importantly my fellow Jamaicans.

Each week I will be sending you a letter of my experiences in this foreign land. Some of you would have had similar experiences and others might learn from these. We will take walks down memory lane, the days when Jamaica was Jamaica, pickney eat bun bun and tinkin-toe but we will focus on the present too.

Some patois may be written throughout this journey. There is a Patois Dictionary Page- for those of you who may want clarification of certain words.
